ABOUT ME

I knew from a very young age that writing would always play an important part of my life. I was obsessed with story telling, journaling, and finding the perfect historical typewriter. 

When it came time to decide my major in college, all I knew is I wanted to write, so I chose Journalism. I also had a knack for art and wanted a career that could combine these passions. This led me to obtain my Journalism degree with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising.

As life has a way of doing, it led me in an unexpected direction, but one that has always included writing. Today, I am a Content Marketing professional and strategist and a freelance writer. I write every single day.

Professionally, I've been a published writer for more than 10 years having written articles about insurance, finances, housing, social media, business, entrepreneurship, education, travel, and study abroad. My writing has been published in national news sites including Mashable, The Muse and The Next Web as well as on a variety of blogs. I also have extensive experience in public relations and digital marketing.

When I'm not writing I am enjoying an adventurous lifestyle alongside my husband, two dogs, and two cats. Living in beautiful Reno, Nevada I take full advantage of the great outdoors with hiking, swimming, skiing, bike riding, and enjoying the Reno/Tahoe area.
